The dedicated staff at Lifeway Mobility Chicago take pride in the services we provide to the community. We are the primary contractor for the City of Chicago’s HomeMod Program sponsored by the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities. We also work closely with local caregiver organizations and rehabilitation hospitals to support their patients as they return home. Since its founding in 1991, Lifeway Chicago (formerly EHLS) has grown to a full-time staff of 23 professionals, plus construction trades-people, who together do over 800 accessibility projects a year, making us one of the largest and most respected businesses of its kind in the United States.
Our Accessibility Consultants understand the challenges our customers face; they will provide a free in-home assessment and work to develop the best solution available. The Construction Team will obtain the required local permits and manage the installation and construction, as well as provide training on how to use the new equipment and ensure your satisfaction with the finished project. Our Service Team is available, if needed, to ensure that your equipment remains in good working order.
