PVE Vacuum Elevator
PVE residential elevators are unique to the home elevator market. These sleek and modern elevators do not require the use of any mechanical lifting devices such as ropes, cables, pulleys, gears, or hydraulics. By utilizing the power of air through a vacuum pump located at the top of the unit, the passenger cab can be elevated up and down within a sealed vacuum chamber.
PVE home elevators have been on the market for over 20 years and have a proven track record of safety, reliability, and durability. The maintenance and cost required of a pneumatic elevator is far less than that of a traditional elevator. Since there are no moving parts or hydraulics, the only real maintenance task is the replacement of the main vacuum seal after 15,000 rides.
PVE home elevators are available in four models that vary in size and capacity. The three cylindrical models are the PVE30, PVE37, and the PVE52. The PVE Cube model operates in the same way as the others, but it features a four-sided square vacuum chamber instead of circular.
