Garaventa Genesis Shaftway Vertical Platform Lift
The Garaventa Genesis Shaftway Vertical Platform Lift is an ADA compliant vertical lift that can be designed and configured to seamlessly fit any layout or decor. The Genesis Shaftway VPL is designed to fit the lift components within a shaftway built by other to Garaventa Lift specifications, and is suitable for both residential and commercial applications.
The Garaventa Genesis Shaftway vertical platform lift provides a fully enclosed elevator-like experience for passengers without the typical cost, maintenance, and construction of a traditional elevator. The components of the Shaftway Models consist of a drive mast, passenger platform, doors/gates, call stations and platform controls.

- Ideal for commercial applications featuring a constructed and framed in hoistway.
- Choice of drive systems: Choose from mechanical leadscrew drive system or hydraulic drive system.
- Other standard features: Extruded anodized aluminum panels; door interlocks; frame-mounted standard call station; constant pressure switches.
- Standard finishes: Electrostatically applied and baked powder coat finish in Silver Moon.
- Safety features: Manual emergency lowering hydraulic release valve (hydraulic system only); or manual emergency lowering hand-crank wheel (leadscrew system only) in case of power outage. Interlocks and internal door closers; illuminated and audible emergency stop switch.
