Television ads that you see for stair lifts often promise quick installation, sometimes the same day. While same-day installation can be a great service and is sometimes necessary due to a loved one being unable to climb the stairs after an injury or discharge from a hospital. However, when purchasing a stair lift, it makes sense to be sure that the unit you’re buying meets your needs and has the optional features that are important to you, instead of just looking for a quick installation.

Like most products, if you decide to order a stair lift model with upgrades or optional features this may increase the lead time between when your order is placed and when your lift can be installed. In these cases, you can be sure that the lift we provide will meet your needs and include your desired options such as a power swivel seat or folding rail.
Curved Rail Stair Lift
Curved rail stair lifts will often require a lead time of 2 to 4 weeks from the time of your order. This is because Lifeway Mobility provides a custom-built rail that fits the precise dimensions of your stairway. Beware of companies that can promise faster installation for a curved rail stair lift. This likely means that they are using a modular curved rail which is not custom made and will not provide as smooth of a ride.
Stair Lift Permits
Lifeway Mobility also follows all local permit requirements. If you reside in an area that requires a permit for a stair lift installation, we will make sure that the proper permit is in place prior to installation. Remember, if your provider offers same day installation, make sure to ask them about your local permit requirements. If they don’t know what those requirements are, you should call an experienced local provider that does.
