Lifeway Mobility Acquires Long Island-Based Accessibility Solutions Provider & Innovative Ramp Manufacturer

Hartford, CT - Lifeway Mobility, Inc. (“Lifeway”), a leading provider of home accessibility solutions, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Center Span, LLC, a national provider of home safety and accessibility products serving veterans and people with limited mobility, and Redispan, Inc. (“Redispan” and, together with Center Span LLC, “Center Span”), a Long Island-based manufacturer of innovative and patented wheelchair ramps.
With this acquisition, Lifeway initiates service to customers throughout the New York City metropolitan area and expands coverage to over 35 states nationwide. In addition to its proprietary line of wheelchair ramps, Center Span will continue to offer a variety of accessibility solutions to veterans through contracts with the Veterans Affairs (the “VA”) health system in over 22 states. Center Span’s experienced teams will continue in their current roles and Center Span’s Co-Founders, Kathie and Ed Finnegan, will join Lifeway’s leadership team.
