Lifeway Chicago had the privilege of working with Ms. Angela Walker, a United States navy veteran who was in need of an accessibility solution. Ms. Walker injured her back in a helicopter accident while she was serving our country.
Years later, she needed the assistance of a power chair, which made it difficult for her to get in and out of her home. After an in-home assessment, we worked with Ms. Walker and her VA counselor to install a wheelchair lift, build a deck, and widen her front door.
