Lifeway Mobility Los Angeles/Orange County would like to share some of the organizations and options that may be able to help you pay for a stair lift, ramp, or other accessibility solution. California Regional Centers
Contracted with the state of California, Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Regional Centers are nonprofit corporations that assists those with developmental disabilities by providing services and support to those deemed eligible. Diagnosis and eligibility assessments regardless of age or income. Those that meet the requirements will be assigned a coordinator who will help develop a plan for services where available and assist you in gaining access to those services. Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC)
The Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC) was established to allow people with disabilities to have an opportunity to live independently by providing a variety of programs and services. It is a Center for Independent Living that is dedicated to supporting the equality of life for people with disabilities. The goal of the programs and services they offer is to eliminate all types of barriers that those with disabilities face on day-today basis.
